Six of Pentacles

The Six of Pentacles represents sharing what we have with those in need.  If we are able to offer monetary assistance to a worthy cause, we should.  What we give out will be returned to us and then some.  The actions taken as shown in the Six of Pentacles are a nice bonus for all involved!

Upright:  The Six of Pentacles indicates that we will receive what is rightfully ours.  This card can indicate a pay raise, promotion, profit-sharing ventures and camaraderie amongst fellow employees.  An inheritance might also be signified by the Six of Pentacles.  Gifts are given.  The Six of Pentacles recognizes the need for social action and giving what we are able.  Everyone requires some assistance now and then.  To give is to receive.  Only by giving and rewarding good efforts will success be assured.  The Six of Pentacles highlights that we are all connected and realizes that we all must aide each other.

Reversed:  The Six of Pentacles reversed indicates a smaller gift or one with strings attached.  The bonus that is coming is not as large as we had hoped it would be.  The distribution of an estate or bonus may well be handled in a way that is unfair.  The present prosperity we are experiencing may be threatened warns the Six of Pentacles when reversed.  The Six of Pentacles can indicate a retirement plan that is not being managed to maximize its’ profit or that we have investments that are losing their value.  Giving too much away could be disastrous if we give away more money than we can live on safely.  Beware of being too charitable and exert wisdom over how much to give away and how much to keep is the lesson the Six of Pentacles shares when it is reversed.
